While I agree with Cuddy, that he doesn't have Asperger's, I do think House knows what it is to think differently and can relate to the patient that way. Wilson makes the argument that House has Asperger's, but Cuddy doesn't buy it. The patient's room doesn't seem that different from House's office. as is using a chalkboard (whiteboard) to list his symptoms. The toys that stimulate thinking are another parallel between House and the patient. House spends a lot of time in the patient's room playing with his toys. I always thought he was a bit of a Humphrey Bogart character.
